Time for another DIY post! This time it'll be about earplugs.
One of the most annoying things in life is tangled earplugs, and the main reason they tangle is because the chords are so thin. Thicker chords don't tangle that easily.
Now one way of making your earplug chords thicker is by wrapping some kind of thread or wire around it. On Pinterest I saw a lot of pictures or earplugs knotted with the Chinese Staircase knot. You might still know it, because it's one of the ways to make friendship bracelets too. But anyway, it's really easy once you know how to do it and it goes quite fast too after some practice.
You can use any kind of thread you want, even wool, and I chose to do it with the same kind of thread that's used to make bracelets.
Another tutorial we found on making your earplug chords thicker and more colorfull is this:
I haven't tried that one out yet, but I just got new earplugs, so I might try it soon.
