Happy New Year's Eve! We hope you had a good year. We had a very special year, because in 2013 we started this blog. It was one of the most fun things we ever did. We wanna thank all our readers, because without you we couldn't do this! We hope that 2014 will be an even better year and keep on reading! <3

 

And now today's special news. Pretty Little Liars will have there own collection for Aeropostale. It will be released on 5 January and you can buy it then in there shops and online shops. It will be very cheap, between $18 and $72. We can't wait to see the collection!

Spotted: Alessandra Ambrosio

 

Hi,

 We spotted Alessandra Ambrosio shopping in this beautiful outfit. The bag, belt and shoes are the same colour leather. They fit perfectly with her boyfriend jeans, which is a big trend. And we like the oversized shirt, it makes her look very skinny.

Beauty Icon Of 2013: Kate Middleton!

Hi!

For the tirth time in a row Kate Middleton is crowned beauty icon of the year by Daily Mail! 2000 British women voted for her.
The reason she is chosen is probably because her style in a way most woman can relate to. She doesn't only wear designer clothes but also dresses from Topshop or jewelry from Zara.

The polka dot dress on the picture above is from Topshop and it was immediately sold-out when she was spotted in it.
Another reason might be that her make-up is always very natural and she has beautiful healthy long hair.

Completing the top 3 are Holly Willoughby and Beyonce. Pippa Middleton, Kate's younger sister was on the 22th place.

Arrows

Hi!

Arrows have already been a trend for a while, especially in jewelry, so it's time to write something about it here. :) We've selected some of our favorite arrow-accessoires:

First we found this neclace with with three arrows studded with rinestones. It costs €12.95.

Rings must be the most popular kind of arrow-jewelry. These two are from Claire's and cost both €5.99.

We really love this neclace from Forever 21! This kind of statement jewelry is also really in fashion by the way. It costs €12.90.

But our favorite of all jewels in this post is this ear cuff from Free People. It costs €28.61, and it's available in both gold and silver. Oh, and if you don't know what an ear cuff is you should read our post about ear cuffs.

And as usual a cheaper version of all these things above can be found at H&M, for example these earrings for only €3.95.

Also your Iphone can be in fashion with this arrow Iphone case from MiniInTheBox. And it only costs €3.67.

It doesn't only have to be accessoires, because as you see Romwe (click here to read our Romwe-post) sells this beautiful arrow sweater too!

Kim Kardashians Christmass Gift

Hi!

Kim Kardashian got a very special christmas gift from her husband this year. Kayne West gave her a Hermès bag hand-painted by George Condo. It's an exclusive painting and George Condo is by the way a good friend of Kayne. He also made a couple of paintings for one of Kaynes albums. Kim was very happy with her unique bag it and imidiately posted a picture of it on Instagram, but we honestly can't say we like it...

Bourjois Happy Light Ultra-Covering Concealer

Hi, 

Femke bought this concealer of Bourjois and she of course tried it out for you. As it says on the box it feels very light. Which Femke loves because she doesn't like heavy make up on her skin. Another positive thing about this concealer is that it stays almost all day long. And if it does go away, because you rubbed too much on it or it gets really wet, than you can easily use it wherever you are cause it's a small package and it has a cute little mirror. 

Well, but of course it would be too dreamy to be true that this concealer is perfect. So, the negative thing about it is that it, even it says on the box it is ultra-covering, doesn't cover that good. Normally you should be able to cover your dark cirkels with a concealer, but with this one you can't. And covering your pimpels goes a bit with at least 2 layers. But if you use first a good foundation or BB-cream it kind a works a bit.

Lookbook: Our Christmas Look

Merry Christmas everyone!
The most important thing about Christmas is being with your family and peace on earth, but the second important thing is your look. :) Everyone wants to look at his or her best at the hollidays and sometime's it's not easy to choose what to wear. That's why we want to inspire you with our very own Christmas looks!

First Maia's look:



She chose to wear this dress from New Look because she loves the print and shape of the dress.



She decided to put her hair in a half-updo. That's practical and it also looks chic.





To make the look less serious, she tryied to do something special with her nails; If you want to make eye-catching nail-art yourself, you should check out our post 'Christmas Nail Art'.

Now Femke's look:

For today she choose this pretty black lace dress from H&M. The sleeves and back are a bit more transparant. She absolutely loves this dress. 

For accessoires she wears this pretty bracelet from Mintbarry(Evelina Barry's armcandy line), these golden earrings from H&M and 2 basic golden rings. 

Her hair is in a twisted updo with a rope braid bun. It turned out very great. 

Her nails are sparkely gold with one red nail with a cute golden bow. We don't have a tutorial on them, but it's very easy to do on your self.

These were our Christmas looks.

Ear Muffs

Hi!

Ear muffs, it's something you don't see often, but it's actually very adorable. Maybe you think ear muffs are more for kids, but if you wear them right, you can easily create a cute and girly look. So, here are the prettiest ear muffs of the moment:

The cutest ear muffs ever can be found at Claire's. They cost €12.99 and oh my god, they're so adorable! :D

These are also from Claire's. They're way more simple, but the little pearles on it make it look special.

Usually we're not such fans of leopard-print, but we immediately fell in love with these ear muffs, leopard-print or no-laopard print. They're from Accessorize and way more expensive than the ones at Claire's, €26.50.

These very special ones come from Topshop and cost €16, wich we think is a fair price.

This pair is also from Topshop. It's more basic than the rest of the ear muffs in this post and that probably also makes it easy to combine. So if you're a little scared to wear eye-catching accessories, you should go for this ones.

The panda ear-muffs might be thye cutest of this post, but these are definitely the most beautiful. They're from River Island and they'rev reduced from €25 to only €8!

Ariana Grande is by the way also a big fan of  ear muffs. A look-a-like of hers can be found at Claire's (see above).



So let's make ear muffs a trend again!

The new bag collection of Fendi is a big trend, especially the famous people love these bags. And most famous people personalize there Fendi bag. Like you could see in our post The Personal Touch personalizing your stuff is a big trend, but personalizing these Fendi bags looks super pretty. Rihanna has one with RIRI on it, Sarah Jessica Parker with her initials and Kate Bosworth and Cara Delevigne have one too.

Cute Animal Hats at H&M

In our post about animal hats we've already mentioned H&M, but since then, they've added more animal hats to their collection!


This is the one they already had. The new ones are knitted and, according to us, even cuter. Both the old one and the new ones cost only €7.95.



This is one of the new collection. Maia got it as an early Christmass gift. :)

Garnier Mineral Anti-Perspirant

Hi!

We don't make many posts about anti-perspirants, yet everyone uses it daily, so it's kind of important to know wich ones you should buy and wich not.

Maia recently bought this Garnier Mineral Anti-Perspirant and she really likes it. Most importantly because it really works. It doesn't only mask a scent of sweat, it also seems that you sweat less. Also it doesn't have that typical sharp anti-perspirant-scent, but a more soft and very nice one. And, like the bottle says, it doesn't make any white marks, something that we think is very important.

So yes, you should buy this one from Garnier. :) Maia'd even say this is her favorite anti-perspirant ever, and that really means something. ;)

Essence Kajal Pencil

Hi,

Femke doesn't use much make-up, but she loves make-up that make her a natural beauty. So she couldn't resist buying this white kajal pencil of Essence for only € 0,99, cause she always dreamed of these cute big eyes. So here is the before and after look:

It isn't perfect white, but pretty good for Essence! And it does make her eyes bigger. But it stays just for half an hour, which isn't good at all!!! So when the sales are coming she sure will buy a more expensive one and try that out for you guys.

In Femke's shoplog she says everyone should have a varsity jacket. Now if you don't have one yet, don't worry, here are the prettiest jackets of the moment.


At Forever 21 they've got, besides Femke's varsity jacket, also this one. It costs €24.90.



Also American Apparel is a varsity jacket-fan! They've sell versity jackets in many different colors, but this brown-green one is our favorite.


Also this is a really really pretty one. It's a New Look's online exclusive and costs €36.

The New Face Of Chanel

A while ago we made a post about the new face of Longchamp, Alexa Chung. Very good choice we think, but not as good as the choice Chanel made. Chanel has announced that Kristen Stewart will be the face of the Métiers d’Art-collection! No campaign pictures yet, but we do already know what the collection will look like:







So while D&G seems to be inspired by Romans, Chanel seems to be inspired by cowboys and indians. We wonder wich of the two styles will be the biggest trend next season...
