Cara Delivingne Collection for Mulberry

Hi,

Maybe you already saw our post about Cara Delevingne for Mulberry, now she didn't only made a shoot for Mulberry, she made a collection too! Cara once told she wanted to do something different then just being a model, so she decided to make a collection for Mulberry. Personally we don't really like the bags she designed. But we do think that the one with the lion studs is very cute and pretty. The lion studs are inspired by the lion tattoo on her finger. Which also very creative. But the big Cara Delevingne fans should check her collection here.

Marni Fall-Winter 2014-2015

Hi!

The fall-winter collection from Marni for next year is really lovely. They used many fur and feathers and especially light-brown colors, but one of the coats was also silver. It looks all very warm and comfortable, also because most of the shoes are flat, wich is pretty unusual. The shoes are all very eye-catching, with gleaming colors and much gold and silver accents. All coats seem to have wide shoulders, sometimes with a fur. The make-up of the models is natural, something that is seen in most of the fashion shows and their  hair is flat, a little thin and a bit wet-looking.

Last week we wrote a post about a feathered skirt we saw at the Romwe webshop. We tought it was very haute-couture, but we didn't think it would become a trend. It's very special, but maybe a bit too much to be something worn by many people. We'll we doubt that now, because mostly when something was seen by a famous brand, fashion giants like H&M pick it up too.

Spotted: Taylor Swift

Hi!

We spotted Taylor Swift in this adorable polka dot-dress at the airport. And guess what, the dress comes from H&M! Can you believe it? Everyone is always expecting celebrities to wear Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, Dior and other designer brands. Not that she isn't looking beautiful in this dress of course, but we were just a little surprised to see someone who ears that much money in a dress that doesn't even cost €15. But ok, she's not the only rich girl wearing clothes from a less expencive brand, because last year Kate Middleton was spotted in a dress from Topshop. And just like the dress that Kate was wearing then (wich was also a polka dot dress by the way), this dress from H&M was sold out very fast after Taylor Swift was spotted in it.
Enough about the dress now, because these beautiful shoes also deserve some attention. :) We don't know where she bought them, but it's probably not H&M or another brand like that. We think they match the dress very well and they make the outfit less black-and-white. Also her legs look very long and thin because of them. We also love her sunglasses. They're not eyecatching at all, a little basic, but otherwise it would be a bit too much. Same for her bag, wich comes from Dolce & Gabbana. It costs €2000.
Her nail polish and lipstick brighten up her outfit and red matches perfect with black and white.

Taylor Swift is a huge style icon for us, because she always looks cute and girly.

Leather pants

Hi!

Leather pants are totally back in fashion! Last summer there were many people wearing leather skirts and even shorts, but now pants are also a trend. You mostly see skinny leather pants, but the baggy ones look very fun too. They're also very easy to combine, you can wear almost everything with it and if you're wearing black ones, you can combine it with any color you like. We think it looks best with an oversized sweater and black pumps. Leather pants look a bit robust, so it's a fun contrast if you combine it with a baby-pink top or sweater. Also jeans looks cute on it. Don't combine it with more leather, so it won't be too much. Leather pants make your legs look very tall and skinny by the way, especially the skinny black ones.

You find them almost in every shop but the pair we like the most comes from Romwe:


































They cost $49.99, that's about €36. It's not that much, but probably it isn't real leather. :p But you can barely see the difference. It does make a big difference it quality, but this kind of trends don't stick very long, so maybe that doesn't matter that much.

So as you see they look very pretty, but they're not very comfortable. Maia used to have one, not totally made out of leather but with leather patches and she gave it away because she really didn't like the texture. Leather is a little stiff, so it isn't comfortable at all to move with. Hers was from C&A so it wasn't real leather. Real leather pants are probably a lot more comfortable to wear than pants out of synthetic leather, but real leather is mostly realy realy expensive... Anyway, Maia regrets that she gave her pants away, because it's a huge trend now, but she's also not going to buy a new pair. It's important to look good, but it's more important to feel good, so we think you should only wear things you really like wearing. So you should see for yourself if you like wearing it or not. We also know people who don't think it's uncomfortable, so we think you should at least try it. :)

Katy Perry And Claire's

Hi!

We've just heard Katy Perry is going to colaborate with Claire's! Jeej!
The name of the collection will be Katy Perry Prism, like her new album, and the pieces will be inspired by her greatest hits. She designed the collection herself and it includes jewelry, but also other gadgets and products. We don't know what it'll look like, but if you've seen her latest music video's, you probably expect a lot of glitter, glamour and gold. :) In may you'll be able to buy it in more than 3000 shops all over the world. We can't wait! It won't be so expencive by the way (because it's Claire's of course).
Katy signed a two year contract, so we may expect many Katy Perry-accessoires!

Sick/Lazy Days Look

Hi,

Here in Belgium there are many people sick lately. So when we saw this video of Bethany Mota with her sick/lazy day look we came on the idea to make a post about it ourselves. Mostly when you're sick you stay probably in your bed wearing your pajamas, but sometimes you have this big cold and you do have to go to work/school. Or you're just very tired and lazy and you don't feel like dressing up. On such a day you wanna wear something comfortable, but still pretty. And you don't want anyone to notice that you're feeling this terrible. So we have some tips for you to look good.

First you're going to start with your hair. When your not feeling good you mostly don't feel like washing your hair. So if it looks greasy, put some dry shampoo on it and it will look much better. Personally, we don't like our hair in our face when we're sick or lazy. So we would perfer to wear a messy bun or a ponytail.

You don't wanna put to much effort in your make-up, but you don't wanna look very tired either. So we would use some BB-cream, because it's much lighter than a foundation. Femke is using here her Bourjois BB cream. Apply some concealer under your eyes and any other places if you need to. For this stap use your best, but still very light, concealer. Femke is using the Bourjois Happy Light Concealer, which isn't really a good one, but since she doesn't has another one she has to use this one. You probably look very tired on a day like this one, so use a white eyepencil to open up your eyes. Femke is using hers of Essence, which isn't a good one either but she hasn't got another one(oh my god, Femke needs some new make-up). To open up your eyes even more you should wear a white eyeshadow on your eyelids and in the inner corners of your eyes. Femke uses her white eyeshadow of Bourjois and this is finally a good product. Then curl your lashes with an eyecurler, Femke is using hers of Topshop, and if you want to you can put some mascara on, but we prefer not to, cause if your sick you can rub in your eyes and you definitely don't wanna mess your mascara. So Femke would use her lashes brush of Hema and then she would put some Labello on them to keep them in place. The same with the brows, you can brush them with the lashes brush and put again some Labello on them to keep them in place. Finally for the lips you should use Baby Lips. It moisturizes your lips and it gives them some color. Femke uses her Pink Puch one, that she really loves.

For your outfit we're going for something very comfy and pretty. The most comfy things are sweaters and leggings, so we would definitely recommend wearing those! Many people don't like leggings and we didn't like them at first either, but when you try them on they feel super comfortable. And you could say that your sweatpants are comfortable to, but they aren't pretty at all! And we're going for the pretty and comfy look, so wear some leggings. Femke is wearing here her high-waisted leggings of the Zara. For a sweater she choose her cute bads sweater that she bought in the Zara too. When you don't feel very well it's good to wear as many layers as possible, so wear a cardigan above your sweater. Femkeh is wearing hers from the H&M, it has cute pockets which are great for tissues. Remember that most leggings don't have pockets, so it's important your cardigan does have them! The shoes doesn't mather, as long as you're not wearing heels. Femke is wearing here her Vans.

Veet Wax

Hi,

Today's post is all about the wax products of Veet. Femke waxes her legs every month and she wanna tell you her experiences with Veet. First she would like to say to all the girls who never tried wax before that it's not as painfull as everyone says. It hurts a bit, but Femke thinks that the pain is tolerable. So you really should try using wax, because your legs feel super soft, even softer than when you shave your legs every day. Okay, her legs doesn't stay this soft whole month, actually only 2 weeks. So if your want to you can wax your legs every 2 weeks. But when you wax your legs the hairs will come back less thick and dark(when you shave your legs they will come back thicker and darker), so Femke doesn't mind the little, almost invisible, hairs the other 2 weeks. But after a month it will be time to wax them again.

First Femke started using these wax strips. A friend recommended this to her. It's very easy to use: you just have to warm the strip(Femke even skipped this stap many times and it still worked pretty good) in your hands and then pull the strip apart, so you have 2 stips. Than you just have to put it on you leg with the hairs along, wait a bit and pull it of against the grain. Your legs will feel super soft and the hairs will all be gone. And you can use one strip 3 times. But the reason why Femke started using another product is that it's very hard to wax every single place of your legs, because the wax is already on the strip. Well, it sounds a bit weird what Femke is telling you now, but try it and you will agree with her.

So Femke searched for something else and she decided to buy this oriental wax. It's a jar with wax in that you have to warm up in your microwave. It's still easy to use. You warm the jar up in the microwave and with the little spatula that comes with the wax you can see if it's warm enough. Of course it can't be to warm, you don't wanna burn yourself! When you have the right temperature you put some wax on your legs with the hairs along. It's very hard to use the right quantity of wax, but try to use as less possible. Than put the strip you bought separately on the wax, again wait a bit and pull the strip of against the grain. The negative thing about this product is that everywhere will be wax, even if you did your best to be as neatly as possible. So Femke tried something else, because she was tired of cleaning the wax every month. 

Than she decided to buy this electrical roll-on. It wasn't expensive at all, but you do have to buy every time new stips and a new wax refill. But that will cost you the same as when you use the other products. She finally found the wax product she likes! It's very easy, as all the products. You have to warm the elctrical roll-on for like 20 minuts and it will never be to hot, than roll it on your legs with the hairs along(the first time you roll it it will be a bit hard and painfull, because you have to press very hard on your legs, but afterwards it will go easy), put a stip on, wait a bit and pull the strip of against the grain. You will never have a place left with still hairs one like with the wax strips and your there won't be wax everywhere like with the oriental wax in the jar. So Femke is super happy she bought this electrical roll-on!





Femke still has one important thing to say about the electrical roll-on. The first time her wax refill was empty she though she could still use some of the leftovers. So she warmed it up and tried to roll it on her leg, but there only came of just a bit wax and not enough to get it of your legs with a stip. So she had this light pink streak on her leg. Her leg was very irritaded and hurting, because she tried so hard to get it of with some almond oil(that's the only product that get's wax leftovers of your legs by the way), but this streak stayed. She decided to wait till the new wax refill was warmed and she though it would get of when she would put some new wax on it. 20 minuts later she did a new wax layer over this pink streak. It hurted very bad... And when she got of this wax the pink streak was still there! She was really freaking out. But it wasn't sticky or something, so the only thing she could do was leave it on her leg. This streak hurted one whole week when you touched it and it stayed one week very pink. After that week the streak on Femke's leg was very dry and was peeling very hard. She put every day some Nivea cream on it. And after 2 weeks doing that she got her leg normal again. Femke just wanna warn you, never leave wax on your legs! We don't wanna scare you, because this really wouldn't happen when you use your wax the right way.

We hope we could help you out with picking the right waxing product. And with using it the right way. Of course you don't have to buy something of Veet. But Femke only has experiences with Veet, it's cheap and good, so she doesn't wanna try something else.

Moschino Runaway Capsule Collection(Fashion Week in Milan)

One of the most outstanding fashion show in Milan today was definitely the one of Moschino. So we had to tell you people! The Runaway Capsule Collection isn't really wearable, it's mostly very special and spectacular, we should even call it art. The collection has a lot McDonalds-inspired items, cow-prints(maybe a new trend?), lots of gold, even Spongebob printed clothes and food package prints. Let's take a look:

Isn't this a collection you really should remember? We think so! And Katy Perry and Rita Ora went to the show and showed a Moschino outfit too:



Jeremy Scott, who was by the way wearing a shirt with the text 'I don't speak Italian but I do speak Moschino' on it, did a great job. We loved it!

Romwe Inspired By Romans

Hi!

Last years Fashion Week in Milan there was this one show that was really outstanding: the one from Dolce & Gabanna. We made a post about it back then (click here to read it), because we were very surprised that their biggest inspiration seemed to be the Romans. We loved the coin-printed dresses very much and we predicted that it would become a HUGE trend. Last year in november we found a legging that was clearly inspired by Romans at the LovelySally webshop. It didn't have a coin print, but a statue-print, but that's pretty too. :) Now we also found a legging with a Roman coin print. This time not from LovelySally but from Romwe. It costs $23.99. The main color in the Dolce & Gabbana collection was gold, yet both the leggings we found were mainly silver and gray. Besides these two leggings from Romwe and LovelySally we also found a Tiffany&co collection that was inspired by Romans. We wonder which brand will be inspired by Romans next. :)

Black

 Hi!

So last week we wrote a post about Vera Wang at New York Fashion Week. We noticed much black (especially leather, but also other textures), so we assume that'll be the next huge trend. :) The Vera Wang collection was for next fall and winter, but you can't be early enough with trends, so we've looked for some must have black items that are already for sale now.

First we've found this salopette from Pimkie. Black isn't the most eye-catching color so you should find something else outstanding for your outfit. Well a salopette is definitely notable. 

This dress is also an eyecatcher, and it's very Vera Wang-like. Besides leather, the kind fabrik you saw a lot was lace. Also maxi dresses are totally back in fashion. It's from Topshop by the way.

Oversized coats are in fashion too and this half leather one from River Island is so chic! :D And as we've told before, the Vera Wang collection included many leather pieces.

The shoes of the Vera Wang models were mainly simple black leather pumps, but we really fell in love with this lace pumps from Zara! They're so adorable!

The combination of black and white is definitely timeless, as is the little black dress. This dress from Zara is perfect for a night out, but it can also look more casual if you combine it right.

And here's another black lace dress, but this time a shorter one for those who're not into maxi dresses (yet). This one's from Romwe.

One of the most eye-catching pieces of the Vera Wang collection was the 'You Bug Me' sweater. Well we haven't find a real look-alike from that, but there are black sweaters with heaps and this one from Romwe, for excample, is certainly as pretty as the 'You Bug Me'-one from Vera Wang.

Feather Skirt

Hi!

Today Maia was looking at the Romwe webshop when she found this very special skirt! It's made out of feathers! We truly haven't seen anything like this before and especially not just in a store. It's so special and haute-couture-ish! We really really love it. It's very daring though.. We doubt if it'll be a trend, but yet we think it's very unique and definitely an eye-catcher. It also has beautiful colors. A couple of days ago we made a post about the Vera Wang collection at New York Fashion Week, with much dark colors, so in that way, it is totally in fashion. And thereby, you don't have to be afraid of wearing something daring, because that's the only way you can become a trendsetter. ;) It costs $35, a normal Romwe-price.

Dolce&Gabbana Make Up Collection Spring/Summer 2014

Spotted on Instagram: this stunning picture of the new Dolce & Gabbana make-up collection. As you see it's pretty natural, with much shades of pink, red and orange.
As they say themselves: 'The colour palette for the new Dolce&Gabbana Make Up collection comes straight from the Spring/Summer 2014 catwalk: a marvel of flowers in bloom, radiating pure beauty, set against the backdrop of the ancient, magical and ethereal island of Sicily.'
Magical, indeed, she looks like a princess. :) 
At their youtube channel, Dolce & Gabbana posted a tutorial on how to recreate this beautiful look. The tutorial is made by Pat McGrath, who is according to Vogue the most influential make-up artist in the world. White eyeshadow

Hi,

Femke is getting more and more into make-up, but she still likes it as natural as possible. So she started looking more how people wear there make-up and she noticed many fashionistas, girls, women wear white eyeshadow. It opens up your eyes and you look less tired. So Femke tried it and bought this white eyeshadow of Bourjois(well you probably noticed she is a bit obsessed with Bourjois, because this brand isn't very expensive and has the cutest package):



This one is a bit to shiny for Femke, she likes more a matt white. But it is still a very pretty colour and she didn't regret that she bought it. It stays all day on your eyes if you don't touch it. So to go for the look Femke likes(the natural, opens up your eyes, less tired look) you just  have to put some, not to much, in the inner corner of your eyes and some on your eyelids. No one will really notice that you are wearing make-up(unless if they look really good) and you will look gorgeous. So we hope you will give this look a try!

Pantene Youth Protect

Hi,

Today is a very special day for us, because a year from now we came on the idea of making a beauty/fashion blog and we still don't regret that idea! We're very proud of our blog and we wanna thank all our followers.

For today we have some very exciting news! A friend of Femke recommented the Youth Protect shampoo and conditioner of Pantene, because it made her hair very healthy, soft and shiny. So Femke bought the conditioner right away to try it out. The price isn't expensive at all. She has been using it once a week for 2 months right now and her hair has never looked so healthy. She still uses other shampoos and conditioners the rest of the week and this healthy look doesn't go away. Like her friend said her hair is super soft and shiny too. Her hair has grown very much these 2 months. She is so happy with it! She will also buy the shampoo for even a better result. Of course it is just to dreamy that this conditioner makes your hair perfect, as you know Femke her hair is curly and frizzy and this product makes her hair even more frizzy. Well, not very much and we don't think it will happen with people who have straight hair, because her friend hasn't got this problem. But it still is not very nice. But of course Femke won't stop using this great product just for that, cause she can still use a lot anti frizzy products. So we hope you will try it, because your hair will look super good!

Spotted: Phoebe Tonkin

 

 Hi,

We spotted Phoebe Tonkin at the New York Fashion Week looking very pretty. And we absolutely fell in love with her dress. The beats make it look so chic and unique. The coat makes this outfit look more casual and we love the deep blue colour. She's holding a not so eyecatching black Chanel bag, but we still like it because it's the purpose that the dress stands out the most of all. Also the shoes from Yves Saint Laurent aren't very eyecatching, but they're still very pretty and perfect to walk with in the snow. Her hair looks perfect and her make up too. We like the colour of her lipstick, it gives the outfit a special touch. We like the idea that she's making the depressing winter a bit more colourfull.

Clearasil Daily Gel Wash

 

Hi!

It's a long time ago that we posted something about products against acne, but sometimes it seems like just nothing helps. A month ago Maia bought this gel wash from Clearasil and this was one of the first acne-products that really worked.
It has a huge effect. Even after using it only a couple of days you can see that your skin is a lot clearer.
It's oil free, so your skin doesn't get oily from it and it also doesn't dry out your skin. Wich is the problem with many acne-products by the way. It actually makes your skin very soft too.
You have to use it twice a day, wich is a little annoying but it really really helps a lot, so it's worth your time. If you use it only once a day, it still works,

Valentine's day is a day full of love, but if you're single on valentine's day it can also be a little depressing. Hi,

Like we said here is another Labello post. Today we're going to say which Labello's leave a pretty natural color on your lips. There are many Labello's that say they do, but we think they just give a shine. The only Labello's we think that really give some color are these:

The colors still are very natural, but we like natural looking lips, because we all want to be a natural beauty, right? The Pearly Shine was the first Labello with some color and because of that one Labello got very famous. It's one of our favourite Labello's too. So now you know which Labello's give some color to your lips. ;)

SJP Shoes By Sarah Jassica Parker

Hi,

We all have been waiting for the Sex And The City fashionista, Sarah Jessica Parker, to make her own clothing line, right? And now finally she made a shoes collection! The new brand is called by her initials 'SJP'. The collection will be launched at Nordstorm February 28th, which is in 3 weeks. And the prices will be between € 143 and € 355. Here are our favourites of the collection:

Aren't they pretty? As you can see the collection has these very fragile heels with spike heels. Which maybe aren't the most comfortable shoes, but we really like them. Good job, Sarah Jessica Parker!
