Primark P.S. Love Fake Nails

Hi,

My friends know how much I love doing my nails, so they recently got me these fake nails for my birthday. It's from the P.S. Love range of Primark. And aren't they adorable?! They aren't really winter or Christmas themed, but I couldn't wait to wear them!

Putting them on was pretty easy (even though it did took me a while to find out how the glue opened up). It took me more time to figure out which nails fitted the best. In total there were 20 nails, which I think is great because like that you have lots of choice.

I do find it a pity that you could really tell that they were false... Or maybe I'm just terrible at applying fake nails, but I don't think that could be the problem.

And they also fell of very quickly... So the glue isn't that great. I had to reapply them a couple of times and after a day I was so tired that I took them off.

These nails made me never want to try other fake nails again, even though it's probably just these ones that aren't that great... But I did feel very fancy wearing them for one day!

Rituals Miracle Balm (Rich and Nourishing Hand Balm)

Hi,

Whenever I wonder around in a shop of Rituals, I always test out their hand balms. And I always love the way they make my hands feel, but I never actually buy one. Except for recently, when I wanted to treat myself with one of their hand balms. Honestly I always use the original Nivea Cream as a hand balm, but I wanted to buy a product specifically for hands. Your hands need this love you know! And especially with winter around the corner.

Their hand balms all have a sort of similar scent (except this one which is orange scented, but I don't really like orange as a body fragrance...), so I looked at the advantages to choose one. The pink one called Miracle Balm is a rich, nourishing one, which sound the best for me.

And it's just wonderful! It makes your hands feel instantly soft, silky and hydrated. And it also did some wonders to my nails, who were a bit damaged and now are again strong like they used to be. So I really do recommend this!

Spotted: Adèle Exarchopoulos

Hi,

On the première of the movie The Anarchists, Adèle Exarchopoulos was spotted wearing this beautiful ensemble from Louis Vuitton.
Black monochrome outfits are timeless and this is a beautiful example of one. First of all I love her high-waist black trousers. I've been looking for something like these myself, because I'm really sick of wearing jeans all the time, and this is only a motivation to go looking for the perfect pair of felt trousers!
On top of it she's wearing a leather cropped poncho. This makes her outfit looke more haute-couture without being too eye-catchy.
She kept her accessories, nailpolish and shoes black too, except for her bright red lipstick. This gives her outfit a finishing touch.

Shoplog: Shopping for a Birthday Outfit

Hi,

One of my favorite things to do is to wear new clothes, so that's what I obviously like to do on my birthday as well! My birthday is not that far away, so I recently decided to buy some new clothes to wear on my birthday. And honestly, I think I found the perfect outfit!

The first thing I found was this gorgeous cropped top from Subdued. It was a bit on the pricey side, because it cost € 23,00 and that for just a top... But I loved it so much, so I payed the little extra money anyway. I especially love this beautiful detail:

This just makes it complete.

Then I got myself a pair of boyfriend jeans. These are from Subdued as well and they cost me € 50,00, which I think is a reasonable price for a pair of pants. These are actually my first boyfriend jeans, because before I never seamed to find the right ones. But these fit perfectly. And they don't have any rips in them, which I prefer. Ripped jeans aren't even allowed on my school... So I'm very happy I found these jeans! And they go perfectly with the top too!

In H&M I bought these ankle boots for € 29,99. I wasn't actually going to buy a complete outfit with shoes and everything, so it was kind of a coincidence when I found these boots which go perfectly with the outfit. They kind of give this whole outfit an Alex Centomo vibe, one of my style icons.

So this is the completed outfit I'll be wearing on my birthday! I added this cardigan from Brandy Melville, because the weather here in Belgium isn't that summery at the moment. I'm really happy with the result and I can't wait to rock this cute outfit on my birthday!

Colorful H&M Hairties

Hi,

Today I'll be writing another hairtie review. I know if already done a few, but I'm really on a quest to find the perfect ones.
As I've already said in my previous reviews, it's important to have hairties without the metal part, because this causes hair breakage. Like my last post these hairties are from H&M (so ofcourse pretty cheap) and you can wear them as bracelets too. I normally keep my hairties as basic as possible, but this time I went all colorfull! Not really my style usually, but to be honest I love it.
They also look really cute in my hair, although they're too big to put in a braid... Lovely for a ponytail or a bun though. The only disadventage is that they don't hold up my hair as well as other hairties do, which is really a pity. They're also a bit stiff so I can't wrap them around real tight. But that also means they don't stretch out at all (which was a problem with all the other hairties I tested out).
So they're not that great to use as a hairtie, but I also don't regret my buy. They look really adorable and even if I can't make every hairstyle with it, I can still use them as bracelets.

The Quality of Urban Outfitters Jewellery

Hi,

About 5 months ago I bought a necklace in Urban Outfitters, as you may already have read in that shoplog. And I expected much of it, because Urban Outfitters is a bit more on the pricey side. This necklace cost me € 15,00. Which I know is not a lot, but I do expect a better quality for this price.

When I bought it it was a golden necklace, now, some time later, it looks like this:

The gold is all gone and there are some rusty patches. I'm very disappointed... And this happened pretty quick too... I don't think it's worth to pay € 15,00 for a necklace to wear it just a couple of times.

So even though Urban Outfitters have a nice jewelry range, I don't think I'm going to buy any of theirs anymore. I'd rather buy some super cheap stuff in for example H&M, because you get the same quality anyways.
