Shoplog: A Souvenir from Paris

Hi,

When I recently went to the beautiful Paris I wanted to buy a little souvenir to remember all my adventures there. And honestly, I think all those little Eiffel Towers and shirts with 'I love Paris' on are stupid things to buy. They might be something fun in the moment, but you're never using them again when you're back home. So I wanted to buy a little accessoire or piece of clothing that would remind me of the good times in Paris every time I wear it.

When I visited a Six in Paris, I found the perfect souvenir: this cute little necklace for € 5,99. It's something so subtle that goes with everything, so I have been wearing it ever since I got it. I love it when something like a necklace gets emotional values.

I Love... Mango & Papaya Body Lotion

Hi,

A long time ago I reviewed the I Love... Raspberry and Blackberry body lotion, but today I'm going to review I Love...'s body lotion of their mango & papaya collection.

The 'I Love...' brand is kind of the cheaper version of Treaclemoon. Which means it's mostly made out of natural ingredients and I'm all about that. Just like the Raspberry and Blackberry one, this body lotion makes my skin feel healthy. And besides that it does good for my skin, it also smells wonderful. I've actually been getting compliments about smelling amazing when I had this body lotion on.

So just like the Raspberry and Blackberry one I recommend this body lotion to you. I think it's a must for your body lotion collection.

I Love...'s Hand Lotions

Hi,

I Love... is a nice and cheap brand that mostly uses natural ingredients. I felt like trying something else of their range, so I bought these two hand lotions in the scents 'Mango & Papaya' and 'Raspberry & Blackberry', because I knew both scents smell great.

These hand lotions soak into your skin pretty quickly which is definitely a plus, because no one likes to have sticky hands for a long time. They also feel very fresh which I consider as a benefit as well. But I don't have the feeling it does much besides that. I don't think it's as moisturizing as a hand lotion should be... And it doesn't make my hands feel soft either. It's a bit disappointing...

I'm not repurchasing these products again and I don't really recommend them either. But I do love all the other products of this brand.

The New Hairtrend: Boxer Braids

Hi,

I noticed a new hair trend: the boxer braids. Not that they haven't been popular for a while, but all of the sudden everyone seems to wear them here in Belgium. Or a least in my surroundings. It's kind of crazy, because from one day to another everyone started wearing them. And everyone still keeps wearing them.

I think they look super edgy and cool. And everyone can rock them: from short to long hair, from straight to curly hair and even from thin to thick hair. It's very easy to recreate (part your hair in two and make two french braids), but there are some variations too:

Like on this picture you can also use the dutch braiding technique to make your boxer braids a bit more interesting.

Or you can even mix it up with a dutch braid ending in a fishtail.

So many options to rock this new trend! And I think it will be a great way to get you hair out of the way in the summer.

Shoplog: Air Max Thea

Hi,

I recently treated myself with a new pair of shoes, because a girl can never have to many shoes, right?  And since today it's Valentine, I deserved to treat myself with something expensive. I wanted to go for another pair of sneakers, because I wear my Nike Roshe Run's a bit to often since they are so comfy. It took me a while to chose which sneakers I was going to buy, but I finally decided to get another pair of Nike's: the Nike Air Max Thea.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Air Max's. I just think they are a bit to big and sturdy. These ones are a bit smaller and more feminine. That's why I chose them. They aren't a huge trend yet, but that doesn't bother me. It kind of even annoys that everyone is wearing Adidas lately. So I like it that my shoes aren't as common seen.

They cost € 120, which I think is a reasonable price, because the quality of these sneakers seem great; I know they will last me a long time.

Other than Roshe Run's these shoes don't feel as light on your feed. They kind of lock your feed in place which is a very different feeling than Roshe Run's give you, but it's a nice feeling as well. I wouldn't use these as running shoes, but I do think they are great to hike in. I think I can walk a long time in them without hurting my feed.

I'm very happy I got myself this pair of shoes and I already know I will wear them lots!
