How To Protect Your Nails In Winter

Hi,

I really love having long nails, but in winter my nails always get a bit weaker and it gets harder to let them grow. This year too, so I've done some research on how to protect your nails in winter.
The reason nails hate winter is that we consantly move between really cold and dry, hot air. This'll dehydrate your nails (and your skin too by the way).
So he main things you need to do when you want to keep your nails healthy and your hands soft is keep them hydrateted. First of all, always wear gloves when your going out. It's also important to use some kind of moisturizer at least once a week. Focus on your nails when you apply it and massage it into the cuticles.
You really have to avoid everything that can dry out your nails. This means: no too hot showers, no nail polish remover, no dish washing liquid and also no nail polish for a while.
And last but not least: drink enough water! When your hydrateted on the inside, you'll also be hydratated on the outside :)

xoxo
