Your Lips But Better

Hi,

I don't know about you, but I spotted a lip trend lately. Many people started using the your-lips-but-better lipstick color. This is kind of a nude, but darker. And as you probably already guessed, it looks a lot like your own lip color, but just better.

The Baby Lips in Cherry Me is an example of this color. It's a little bit more red-toned than your own lips and it has a subtle shine, but people won't directly see that you're wearing lipstick. Maybe that's why I love this trend so much, because you can go away wearing this kind of lip color to school. Other examples of this color are the Barry M lipstick in Pink Suede, the Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Sunbaked, the Mac matte lipstick in Kinda Sexy, ...

To make your lips look the most natural and the prettiest, you have to find which color looks the best for you skin tone. You can take a look at our post 'How to Choose the Right Lipstick Shade', where we have a video of Michelle Phan linked that tells you which lipstick shades look the best for your skin tone. With your skin tone you might look better with a more reddish lipstick like the Baby Lips in Cherry Me or maybe a more pinkish color like on the picture above this post.

xoxo
