Magnetic Earrings

Hi!

So we've already told you Maia hasn't got her ears pierced and we've also done a post about clip earrings.

Some people don't like clip earrings because they hurt and some people think they're too old-fashioned. Now clip earrings aren't the only possibility for people without pierced ears and one of the others is magnetic earrings.



The two pairs above come from Claire's. There a year old or older so you won't find the same, but Claire's still has many cute magnetic earrings like this, so if you like these, take a look!

Now what's better the clips or the magnetics? The first things is that if you want big earrings, you'll have to buy clip earrings, because there are only small magnetic earrings. At the other hand, magnetic earrings don't hurt. They're smaller and so lighter than most clips. But thereby they can fall off. So you have to be very carefull while wearing them otherwise you'll loose them and if you loose the little magnet on the back they're useless...  Another advantage of clips is that you find them in almost every shop while magnetics are a little more rare. Clips usually cost a bit more, but not much and both clips and magnetics can also be worn by people who have there ears pierced. So if we count that all together that's magnetics 2-3 clips! ;) So yay for clips!

Rope braid bun

Hi!

So we found this cute hairstyle on Bebexo's youtube channel, it's a very beautiful bun wich looks nonchalant and is perfect as an every day hairstyle but also for a date. It may take a while to make, but with a little practice you'll have a beautiful hairstyle wich will make your friend jealous. ;) We tried it for you and you should definitly try it too! Dried out mascara

Hi!!

We've promised you to test if you can mix dried out mascara with day-creme to make it good again. So that's what we did! :) Maia mixed her dried-our wild & more mascara with coloured day-crème from Nivea (just a little bit) and now it's not dried out anymore! Isn't that magic? :p The only disadvantage is that it makes the colour of your mascara a little bit lighter (even with coloured day-crème) but in brown mascara that doesn't bothers. We haven't tested it out with black mascara yet so we don't now what's the effect, but feel free to let us know if you did! :D What do you do if your mascara is dried out?

Wild & More Long Lash Mascara

Hi!

This time we're going to test out Wild & More long lash mascara. Maia has bought this mascara almost a year ago for €2.50 when she was in Center Parks. When she first bought it it worked really good. It does make your eyelashes a lot longer and gives volume. She bought a light-brown color so it would look natural and it did. But now it has totaly dried out and she can't use it anymore... :( It wasn't that expensive, but it's still regrettable it's already useless after a year... We've heard that you have to mix dried out mascara with day-creme to make it good again, but we're not sure if that's true... Maia will try it (if it doesn't work, it's not that dramatic, because now she also has to throw it away) and we'll let you know if it worked. Wich mascara do you use and what do you do if it dries out?

Katy Perry's Hairstyles

Everybody loves Katy Perry! Her music, her looks and her hairstyles! Most of her hairstyles, because she had a lot of pretty hairstyles, but also a lot of less beautiful hairstyles. We made a list of all her hairstyles!

In 2007, Katy's hair was black and shoulder-length. It was normal, a bit messy, but cute.

 In 2008, Katy's hair was still black, shoulder lenght and messy, but a little thicker.

In 2009, Katy's hair was a lot shorter and more curly. A little vintage, like Marilyn Monroe. Very pretty!

In 2010, her hair was a little more risky. It was bright blue and curly!

In July 2011, Katy changed her hair into a ombre, curly hairstyle. Very stylish!

In November 2011, she decided to gave her hair another bright colour: pink!

In Februari 2012, her hair was a lot shorter, straight and blue. We think this is her worst hairstyle, because it isn't a pretty kind of blue, like in 2010 and we think long or curly hair looks better on her.

In april 2012, Katy's hair was really pretty again! It was longer and dark purple

In June 2012, there was still some purple in her hair, but this time only the high lights.

Katy's latest hairstyle is also very pretty! It is long, black and a little curly. This is one of her pretiest hairstyles.

Donut Earphones

Hi!

When Maia went to Camden Town, she found a funny shop, the Cyberdog. When you're in London you should really go there! It's very special and very futuristic. The clothes are not really our style (they're a little weird), but the some of the accesoires and jewellery are really cute and funny! For example, Maia bought really cute donut earphones!



They look good, are good quality and are very convenient, because you can wrap them around the big donut! :) Oh and don't forget to check out http://shop.cyberdog.net/ for more cute and funny stuff!

Be careful what you buy at sales!

We love sales! :D

We already told you that there were low priced t-shirts at H&M, but other things are also low priced now! But sometimes it only counts if you buy two pieces. Maia  bought this sweater:



Cute huh! Sorry for the bad quality picture by the way, but Maia's going on vacation (and het new sweater is going with her ofcourse) so she was in a bit of a rush. :) But anyway, this one costed only €15!



But as you see in the title of this post, you must really watch out if there's nothing wrong with the clothes you buy, especially at sales, because somethimes the clothes who are left in sales are the ones with stains on it or holes in it... And ofcourse you can turn it back, because it was one of the low priced pieces... And as you see in the picture above also Maia's sweater had holes in it. She didn't see it in the shop (wich was a pitty, because there was another one wich was same size and same price) Luckily she could sew it and now you don't really see in anymore. But prevention is better than cure (that's with everything) so make sure there's nothing wrong with your new clothes!

Glee Look-alikes

Season 4 may be done, we still love Glee! You must love the characters they all sing ver good and as different as their personalities are, as different are their styles! Today we’ll show you how to dress up as your favorite Glee character! We didn’t have time for all the caracters, but most of them are in this post. :) Sorry if your favorite isn’t in it…

First is Artie. He’s a little nerdy and so are his clothes:


Blaine has a more vintage style:



Brittany wears many skirts, funny t-shirts and big, eyecatching jewels (when she’s not wearing her cheerleader outfit :p ):



Emma’s style is cute and very girly. She’s always wearings skirts or dresses and earrings.



R.I.P. Cory Moneith, we were big fans of you and of Finn… <3
Finn’s clothes are very basic with much grey and dark blue.



Jake’s style is a little tougher:



We’ve almost never seen Kitty without her cheerleaders uniform, but when she’s wearing other clothes, she looks even more awesome! Remember her Spice Girls outfit?



Kurt is always wearing chic and fashionable outfits.


Marley is definitely Maia’s favorite caracter! She’s new this season, but already one of the leading caracters and thereby, she dresses very nice! :D



Quinn’s style is very cute and girly and she’s always wearing a little cross necklace.



And then we’ve gor Rachel, the star of glee! :D In the first seasons her style was a bit weird and geeky but now she wears very pretty and classy clothes.



Ryder mostly wears a funny t-shirt and a basic vest.



Sam’s style is also basic:

Mulberry’s Primrose

Hi!

We love Mulberry! Especially their bags! And now they’ve got a really pretty new one! It’s called Primrose and it looks (as most of their bags) simple but very classy. It’s a little retro and it’s available in five colors: red, aubergine, brown, black and taupe.


It’s made from calfs leather and like most Mulberry bags it’s very expencive, but maybe they’ll be lookalikes from it in cheaper stores like H&M? We hope so!

Abercrombie's Taylor Swift T-Shirt

We've already told you that the boss of Abercrombie said that their clothing is only for skinny, beautiful people. And we tought that was really mean! But have you heard what they've done now? They made a t-shirt with '# more boyfriends than t.s.'. And t.s. than stands for Taylor Swift. Here it is:

Ofcourse the Taylor Swift fans didn't think that was funny at all (we don't either) and they started a petition on Change.org to make Abercrombie stop selling the t-shirts. One of the fans even posted a You-Tube video in which she urged fans to call Abercrombie public relations to complain about it. (here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=sOmOb_wcSKE#at=13 ) And if you call this number now you hear: "Thank you for calling Abercrombie & Fitch public relations. If you are calling regarding the Taylor Swift T-shirt, please note that this is no longer available."  So they stopped selling it! Abercrombie also tweeted: "Hey #swifties we no longer sell the tshirt. We <3 Taylor's music and think she's awesome!"

Ives Rocher French Manicure Pencil

Hi!

We really love french manicures! It looks natural and very classy. One way to make it is by painting a white line on your nails with white nail polish, but a much easier way is by using a french manicure pencil.

That's why Maia bought this french manicure pencil from Ives Rocher. It gives a real beautiful white color that stays for 3 days. After that you'll need to apply it again but of course, like all french manicure pencils, it's easy and fast to aply. So that's not really a problem!

Party Dresses

So we went shopping together and we found this perfect gala dress and then we came up with the idea to write a post about party dresses for every kind of party. So here they are:

In Coolcat we found this gorgegeous dress that costs € 40,00. Wear it to a girls night out, a birthday party or any other not to chic party.

We went shopping in Hasselt(a city in Belgium) and there was this cute shop called Moggy's with thousands of dresses. We found these 2 pretty dresses that both costs € 35. These dresses are perfect for cocktail party's, tea party's, chic beach party's or chic birthday party's. Don't ever wear this to a wedding, because the bride would be jealous.

Than in New Look we saw this amazing dress for € 74,99. Maybe a little expensive, but so much worth it! You can wear it to the prom, the red carpet or a very chic party.

In Apples we found this chic dress for € 24,99. It's perfect for the prom or the red carpet. You can wear it on very chic party's too, but the dress from New Look is better for that.

There we found this beautiful dress to that costs € 19,99. It's perfect for a beach party.

Chanel's Fall-Winter Haute Couture collection

Hi!

Wow, we don't like to look forward to the fall and the winter, but in fashion we have to...

Chanel's new collection is out! It's the Fall-Winter Haute Couture of 2013/2014 from Karl Lagerfeld. Remember we told you Chanel was doing bad? Well, they're doing much better! We love Chanel again! There was a show in The Grand Palais, with of course a lot of celebrities and they all liked it! Kristen Steward found the clothes very modern and she loved the authentic location. Rose Byrne loved Grand Palais too and she found it a very powerful look: the models, the location and the clothes together. Natalia Vodianova found the collection brilliant. Vanessa Paradis thought the clothes were magnificent and she found that the models looked radiant and ready to attack. Amber Anderson found that the clothes looked very glamorous, but still good to wear at daytime. Rihanna had a wonderful experience and she saw many beautiful pieces that she would love to wear.

This owl nail art looks really beautiful and it’s actually very easy. You don’t need many nail polish colors and these little owls look pretty in every color, so you have no excuse not try it out! ;) Let us know if it looked good!

Longchamp

Hi!

Today we'll show you the 5 prettiest Longchamp colors of this season. There bags are very practical and pretty. You have a small bag, a medium and a large one. The small one is very cute and it's big enough for a little bottle of water or a book. The medium is perfect if you want to bring a lot with you. And the large one is good for a sleepover or a trip, but still not to big to go shopping with. The only disadvantage is that you don't have any pockets in these bags, so that's not really good if you have the large one. So, here is our top 5 of colors:
