No, your eyes are not tricking you: People‘s “Most Beautiful", Lupita Nyong'o has really dyed her hair purple! She first introduced her new hair color at the Met Gala.
Maybe you didn't notice it yet, because the dress she was wearing at the Met Gala was also very eye-catching:
Personally, we like her new hair more than her dress (we're not such fans of her style in particular, it's always a little over the top). Altough it's a whole lot of a change, we think it looks good on her and it matches her skin-color too.
Purple seems to be a pretty popular hair-color lately and Lupita Nyong'o is definitely not the first celebrity to try it out.
A while ago one of our favorite youtubers, Evelina Barry, also dyed her hair purple:
As you see, her hair color is a lot brighter that Lupita's, but we still like it tough. Especially because it's not in one plain color, but it has shades of pink and blue in it.
Anyway, however pretty both girls look with their purple hair, we'd never dye our hair purple! :p
