Kevin Murphy's Hydrate-Me.Wash

Long hair needs a lot of care, because it's easily dried out or has split ends. Especially in summmer this is a problem because the sun dries out your hair a lot... In our post 'How to protect your hair from sun damage' we said that it's very important to use conditioner weekly. But of course it makes a huge difference wich conditioner you use, because not every conditioner is equally good.

Maia bought the Hydrate-me.wash from her hairdresser who reccomended it, because Maia's hair dries out very easily. Altough it's a shampoo, he told her to use it as a conditioner. Sounds kind of weird, but as you can read below it does very well as a conditioner. :)
It costed €25, wich is kind of a lot for shampoo (or conditioner). There's 250ml in this bottle, but you can use it a very long time. Maia's hairdresser told her to use only a little of it and she's been using it every second day for almost half a year and it's not empty yet! This means you probably pay the same price (or maybe even more?) for all the bottles of conditioner you'd normally use in the meantime. So we'd say it's worth the money.
Not only because it lasts long, but also because it's just really really good. The Kevin Murphy-website says the Hydrate-me.wash is 'A super smoothing and hydrating wash for normal to dry hair. It is for hair that just cannot be repaired, for hair that is naturally dry, or for hair that lives in a very dry climate. This formulation is still packed with antioxidants as this gives the hair a healthy glow and stops the hair from losing any more moisture.' In the list of benefits they say it's 'Smoothing, Adds shine & moisture, Creates silky feel' and we couldn't agree more. Even after the first time you use it, it makes your hair look super healthy and shiny. It makes your hair very soft and it also seems to give a bit of volume (wich Maia's hair really needs). Since she uses it Maia has a lot less split ends and her hair also doesn't dry out that quickly in summer anymore.
It contains vintamine A, B7 and C, wich are nessecery for healthy hair. Vitamine A smoothes the appearance of the hair shaft and increases elasticity, vitamine B7 helps your hair to grow and vitamine C prevents hair-loss and premature graying. The wash also contains Kakadu Plum, wich gives it such a great scent. It smells a bit more subtle and natural then most shampoo's and conditioners.
The bottle is very easy too, by the way, you don't have to turn it around when it's almost empty and you can use it 'till the last drop. We also just love the design and the color, it looks very chic. :)

There is also a Hydrate-me.rinse from Kevin Murphy, wich Maia hasn't tested out yet, but maybe when her bottle of wash is empty, she'll try the rinse.
