J.K. Rowling As A Designer

Hi!

Yes, we mean the same J.K. Rowling as the one who wrote the extremely popular Harry Potter books. It's a one-time thing though, she designer just one bracelet, of course inspired on her books. The charms all refer to a part of the books and movies. For example one of the charms is a flying quidditch ball and another one is a broom.

The bracelet will be auctioned on 10 december and the expected price is  20.000 pounds and the money will go to Lumos, J.K. Rowlings own charity.

Lumos Maxima, that's the bracelet's name. Very suitable, because (and the Harry Potter fans amongst you will probably know) Lumos Maxima is one of the spells from Harry Potter.

The New Face Of Longchamp

Hi!

Alexa Chung is the new face of Longchamp! She'll be in both the spring/summer and the fall/winter campaign of the brand in 2014. The reason she is chosen is, according to Leclercq, Longchamp's international communications director, that she's both chic and modern (like their new collection) and because she's got energy and confidence. At Maia's school there are a lot of girls with bandana's lately. Bandana's give you a very vintage and playful look and they fit with many different hairstyles and it's also very easy to do. Hair Chains

Hi!

In our post about ear cuffs, we mentioned an ear cuff that's connected to your hair. We didn't like it, but there's another kind of hair jewellery that we do like: the hair chains. You probably know it already, because it's not that new, still it isn't seen on many people. Maybe because it's a little too fancy to wear with an everyday outfit? Or is it because they don't know where to buy it? If it's the last one, don't worry, we'll do something about it! ;) Here are our favorite hair chains of the moment:

First one we found is from Accessorize and costs €29.90.

Also at Free People we saw a real beautiful hair chain. But like everything at Free People it's really expencive... €171.65


We've also found a hair chain for those who do not want to pay that much for it. This one from Bijou Brigitte only costs €5.95. This one it attached to your hair with bobby pins, so maybe also a bit easier to wear.

And we're not the only ones who love them, Kim Kardashian loves them too! Or at least the one from her own collection...
