Hudson’s Bay Company Has To Remove A T-Shirt From It's Shops
Hi,
The brand Hudson's Bay Company had to remove a t-shirts from it's shops last week, because there were too many complains.
It was a shirt with "Nothing Tastes As Good As Skinny Feels" on it. This sentence is actually a quote from Kate Moss, wich she said in an interview with WWD in 2009. Also then there were many complaints and people were saying she promotes eating disorders.
They removed it because of all the complains from customers, wich they took really serious.
So maybe you don't know Hudson’s Bay Company, but it's a brand from Canada, wich is very popular there. They also have a collection designed by Kate Moss.
Also the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch said that only pretty and cool people could wear their clothes and work in their shops and this caused the market shares to fall 19%, so we think this'll happen to Hudson's Bay Company too. And they deserve it, because it's really not okay to encourage girls to eat too less, just because they think everyone should look like Kate Moss.
xoxo
