Garnier Fructis Polishing Wax

Hi,

Something you probably all know by now is that Femke struggles with frizzy hair. And the thing that bothers her the most about it is the crazy baby hairs she has. She doesn't want to use any hairspray for it, because she hates it when it makes her hair feeling hard and weird. Gel and wax weren't options for her either, because she had the feeling these products make your hair super shiny and greasy and only boys seem to use them. But when she found out Mimi Ikonn uses wax to tame her baby hairs, she wanted to give it a try.

She basically picked up the first one for girls she saw in her local drugstore. It was this polishing wax of Garnier Fructis. She never really has been a big fan of the Garnier products, but there wasn't much of choice, since all the waxes seemed to be for boys.

But she really loves it. It wasn't expensive at all and she has the feeling this will last her a long time. Also she is obsessed with the fragrance of this wax. She thinks it's the best smelling hairproduct ever.

This is how she uses it: in the morning she will apply a bit of the wax on her fingers and than she will carefully smooth out her baby hairs with her fingers. It's as simple as that! And it really takes no time in the morning!

It doesn't make her hair feeling hard or weird and it doesn't look greasy. It does make her hair a bit faster greasy than it normally would. And yes, it stays the whole day. Even when she goes jogging or bicycling, which always makes her hair messsed up. It's not that all her baby hairs stay in place the whole day, because you can't really apply it all over your head (that will make your hair very greasy!), but it still makes a big difference. So Femke really recommends this to girls who have crazy, frizzy baby hairs like her.

Why Not To Use Soap Every Day

STIL inspiration

Hi,

Some time ago we made a post about why not to wash your hair every day. If you do this, you should really read that post, because it's a mistake that quite a lot of girls make. And actually it's the exact same thing with soap. There are so many people who wash their body with soap every day without realizing that this is really unhealthy for their skin.

While using shampoo too often will leave your hair too greasy, using soap too often will make your skin too dry. Sure it takes away dirt, but it also takes away good oils, wich are neccesery to keep your skin hydratated.
And for those who use shampoo to wash their body: this is really the worst thing you can do.It might be convenient, but shampoo is designed to remove oils and buildup from your hair. Logically it'll also remove all oils off your skin, wich leaves it really dry and vunerable.

Don't get me wrong, you should still shower every day, but if you do this, make sure you only use soap and shampoo every two days.
And for your face it's actually better to use soap every day. Most people have already an oily skin, so washing it every day will reduce that. And it'll also help against acne.

A great way to keep your skin moisturized after using soap is by using body lotion when you've just showered and your skin's still damp.

We like the last look the most :)

It's not really bandana-weather anymore (or at least not in Belgium, it's raining a lot already), but we think these six pictures are very inspiring, so we just had to show them!!
In our post about bandana's we already showed you some bandana hairstyles from a Cute Girls Hairstyles tutorial, so make sure to check out that post too :)

Coats and Jackets

Hi,

We both have a big selection of coats and jackets. We think it can be such a nice statement in your outfit. And when you have only one coat or jacket that you wear every day over and over again, it might get boring. So since it's being very cold in Belgium we have been getting our eyes on the coats and jackets. So why not share you our favourite coats at this moment with you. First we want to apologize that almost all our picks are from Zara, but Femke thinks that Zara has the most beautiful coats and jackets ever that will last you a long time. Also if you will buy a coat/jacket of for example H&M than there is a big chance half of the people will walk around with the same one. Here are our favourite ones:

This baby pink coat is from Zara and we think it's so adorable! It costs € 79,95.

Afbeelding 6 van KORT BONTJACK van Zara
Fur is totally back in fashion this year. This fake fur jacket is also from Zara. And it costs again € 79,95.

Afbeelding 5 van JACK MET RONDE BONTKRAAG van Zara
This is another fake fur jacket from Zara. It looks very chic. It costs € 79,95 too.

Personally we're not big fans of these padded jackets, but we think this one look very pretty. It's from Zara and costs € 99,95.
Actually Maia recently bought this rain coat in white, but we think the red one looks very cute too. You can buy it in Pull and Bear for € 49,99.

We think this parka of Pull and Bear is so nice. It's padded on the inside, which makes it super warm but it's not that ugly as a real padded coat. It costs € 99,99.

We love jeans jackets, but unfortunatly they are sometimes a bit to cold for the autumn/winter. This one has a furry inside, so it's still warm but also pretty. You can buy it in Subdued for € 89,00.

We could go on for a long time, because we found so many pretty ones. But hopefully you could find one you like.
