Dolce & Gabbana Inspired By Medieval Times

Hi!

The Spring/Summer collection from Dolce & Gabbana was clearly inspired by the ancient Roman times. The collection contained dresses, shoes, ... with Roman coins on it and the main color of both clothes and accessories was gold. If you want to read more about this you can check our post "Dolce & Gabbana Inspired By Romans"
In that same post we wrote that the runway clothing that was for sale at that moment in their webstores was very Medieval-looking. It contained many long dresses with mozaik-prints.
In their Fall/Winter collection, wich they presented at Milan Fashion Week, they seemed to be inspired by Medieval times again. Only this time it was a bit more fairytale like.

Instead of gold, the main colors are now silver and red. There are also a lot of super cute animal prints.
According to them their biggest source inspiration was Secret Garden, a book from Burnett. It's a children's book wrote in 1911 and it's considered as a classic.
They Roman-inspired clothing became a huge trend (we spotted a lot of look-alikes) so we hope their Secret Garden-inspired clothing will also be  popular.

xoxo
