Running Late Tips

Hi,

Isn't horrible when you're running late and you still wanna look good? We don't have this problem much because we get up when our alarm rings even if it's so hard, but we do have some tips for you.

- Our first tip is to make your bag, purse, backpack, whatever you're taking to your school/work, the night before. Then you don't have to worry about it in the morning. And when you're stressed you can easy forget something. So don't skip this tip.

- Also it's a good thing to pick your outfit the night before, so you don't need to worry about that neither. We do this every day and it really saves lots of time.

- When you are running late it doesn't matter if you don't use your creams, you can still use them in the evening. You should just wash your face very quickly, that's enough.

- For taking a shower you won't have time neither, so just use a lot of parfum and deo. If you still smell bad you can wash yourself quick with a washcloth.

- If you were supposed to wash your hair that morning you can still use a dry shampoo. But to avoid this you can wash your hair in the evening, it saves a lot of time.

- For make up we're going very basic. Use your favourite BB-cream or foundation and maybe some concealer if you need to. Then curl your lashes and use some mascara. If you can't leave the house without an eyeliner you can use that too, but we recommend not to, because that takes lots of time. And finish of with a lipstick.

- There are many tutorials with running late hairstyles, but we think that if you're really running late you won't even have time for them. So loose hair is the best option, but if it really doesn't look good you can make a messy bun or ponytail.

- No time for breakfast? You still got to eat something, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Pick something you can eat while you're going to your work/school. If you normally brush your teeth after your breakfast than do this today before your breakfast and if you're really running out of time you can just take a little mint.

Frozen Inspired Look

Hi!

We're so in love with the newest Disney movie, Frozen! Disney makes everything look so beautiful. :) We'd love to look as pretty as Elsa, so we were very glad to see DisneyStyle (one of Disney's own youtube channels) posted a tutorial on both Elsa's hair and make-up.

So first the make-up totorial wich is by the way made by one of the Pretty Little Liars make-up artists. :o

Bourjois BB Cream

Hi,

This sales Femke bought a BB cream of Bourjois. She has been using it for a month now and she though it was a good idea to make a review about it. She bought it for something like € 12, but it normally costs € 15. The box looks very chic, she absolutely loves it! And you can turn the mirror in all different kind of ways. So she was even happier that she bought it when she saw the box. It comes with a very soft sponge too. The package is perfect for us. And Femke is not even thinking of throwing it away.

On the box it says that this BB cream does 8 things: perfection 16h, smoothing, targeted correction, anti fatigue, anti-shine, anti-aging, long-lasting hydration and SPF 20. Well lets see if it's true. 

Perfection 16h: For Femke it stayed sometimes whole day and sometimes just 6 houres. We think it depends on how much you touch your face and the weather. The box isn't so big, so you can take it with you and like that you can adjust if you need to during the day, so it's not such a big deal.

Smoothing: It does makes Femke's skin super soft and it looks pretty smooth, but you still can see some of her pimpels and blemishes. But for a BB cream we think it covers pretty good, because BB creams never have a great coverage.

Targeted correction: We don't really think something even can correct targeted(that would be a magical product), so no it doesn't.

Anti Fatigue: Femke used to wear a foundation and the first day she worn her new BB cream someone said her she looked very tired, so no it doesn't make you look more awake if you are tired. It actually even accentuates your dark circles a bit, which sounds weird, but yes it does.

Anti-shine: It doesn't shine at all, it kind of looks like a matte BB cream. Which Femke prefers, so she is very happy about that.

Anti-aging: Femke doesn't know if it does this, because she isn't that old yet. ;) 

Long-lasting hydration: We think it does hydrates your skin, like we said her skin is feeling very soft lately, but we don't think it has a long-lasting hydration. 

SPF 20: Well, she didn't got a sunburn, but it's the middle of the winter, so we don't know if this really works. But normally it would work. We think every BB cream or foundation you buy should have a SPF, because it prevents wrinkels and skin cancer. 

We think it's okay for a BB cream and in combination with the Bourjois Happy Light Concealer it's perfect. We said that it wasn't such a good concealer, because it didn't really cover anything. But when you first use this BB cream and then on top of the blesmishes that the BB cream didn't cover you put some of this concealer, it will look great! They are perfectly made for each other. But there is still one negative thing of this BB cream: Femke her box is almost empty and she has been using it for only a month! So it's a bit expensive if you have to buy every month a new one. So once again we're going to search for a better and cheaper one.

Brides Jumpsuit

Hi, 

J. Crew came on the idea of a brides jumpsuit. And it was a good idea, because it's already sold out! We think it's very beautiful and we like the idea, but we still would like to look like a princess on our big day, so we would rather to wear a dress. But we do think that this lace onesie is good to wear on a normal day too(well maybe not to school or work, but to a party or something like that). If you're interested it costs € 733. But you should wait till they have made new ones, because like we said before: they are sold out!
