Rituals Cherry Blossom Body Mist

Hi,

You probably know all about my obsession with this one collection of Rituals, if not you're missing out on us! I've mentioned some of the products in this range in previous posts: the Rice Scrub (this was actually a post of Maia, but I tried this scrub too and love it!), the Magic Touch Cherry Blossom & Rice Milk Body Cream and the Sakura Silk Deodorant. This collection is called 'Sakura' and it's basically the collection with as the main ingredients rice and cherry blossom. The reason why I love this collection so much is because of its scent! You know how everyone has this one scent that suits them the best, well I think this is mine! So when I found out Rituals sells a body mist with this scent, I obviously had to buy it right away!

It was only € 16,50, which I think, is very cheap! And honestly it's the best parfum-type of product I've ever tried! Because beside its amazing scent, it also stays surprisingly long! Which is really unusual for a body mist. It's almost like an actual parfum.

Okay, their is something I don't like about this product: the packaging... Normally parfums or body mists have beautiful bottles, but this one doesn't... But oh well, I can totally live with this since the product itself is amazing!

So I love, love, love this and really recommend it to anyone!

Easy Halloween Nail Art

Hi,

When I watched Ingrid Nilsen's latest Youtube video, I knew I had to write a post about it! Because in this video Ingrid and her friend Stephanie show you 2 spooky nail art designs, which is perfect with Halloween coming up. And it's very easy to recreate. Ingrid even admits herself that she's bad with nail art and she's able to do these just fine! Here is the video:

Cute, huh? I love the one with cats and you can pull that one of besides Halloween too!

If you're interested in some more Halloween nail art, click here to read (and see all the spooky nail art designs we picked out) our post of last year.

Clearasil Rapid Action Cream

Hi,

I recently had a lot of trouble with acne, so I tested out all possible anti-acne products I could find to make it better. One of those is the Clearasil Rapid Action Cream.

What already bothered me when I bought it is that it's such a small bottle. Clearasil products are all a bit expencive so I kind of expect it to be more... But anyway, the adventage is that you can easily take it with you in your purse.
Now the packaging aside this is one of the only products I tested out that actually worked. Not in 4 hours like they promise on the bottle, but after using it daily for about two days. This has truly made my acne better for a while but after a few months it stopped having a real effect and my acne just came back. This is what I have with a lot of products so I guess that's normal, but still it would be nice to just find something you can stick with...

Anyways, my acne recently got a lot better in less than a month. Not because of all of these products I tried out, because like I said they all stopped working after a while. The real reason my acne is almost gone is because of these special pills my doctor prescribed for me. Sounds kind of drastic, but really helps a lot.
Of course when you're just having only a little bit of acne this isn't nessecary at all and for those people I would reccomend Clearasil. It's a very good brand with stuff that actually works (although not all the time). It's one of the more expensive brands, but I think it's better to have a few quality products than to own a lot of low-cost, low-quality stuff, especially concerning make-up products.

Zwitsal Rich Baby Oil

Hi,

You might have read my post about the Johnson's Baby Oil already. Than you might know about my new obsession aswell: baby oil! Baby products are in general way better for you, because they don't consist of many chemical (bad) ingredients. But baby oil is the best skin care product ever! If I would go to a deserted island and would be able to bring just one beauty product, than it would probably be baby oil! It just makes your skin incredibly soft! And it's very easy to use too: after you showered you just splash some product on to your wet skin.

But since I always used Zwitsel when I was a baby/toddler, I prefer their products, because it's nostalgic for me. And all Zwitsel products have this amazing scent! So I wanted to try their baby oil aswell.

This one actually says it's clinical tested, which the one from Johnson's didn't say. So I actually "trust" this brand more. But it has the exact same effect: it makes my skin feel very soft and silky. So both products are equally good, but I still prefer this one, because of its smell and the nostalgic feels it gives me!

Maybelline Browdrama

Hi,

I heard lots of the Maybelline Browdrama, so I really wanted to try it out. I think it's the perfect brow-product to start with if you're a brow-makeup-virgin. Using makeup on your brows can be a bit scary at first, but this product isn't scary at all since it's a transparant brow mascara.

It's very easy to apply and even if you mess it up you won't be able to see it with its translucent colour. I use this to set my brows in place and I think it does a great job for that. My brows are very crazy and start moving around pretty easily during the day, but this products prevents that. Which is just lovely. I do need to say it doesn't stay perfect all day long. I have less brow hairs on the tail of my brow so the product doesn't have much to stick to, which makes these hairs move around quicker. But I still think it's a wonderful product and I definitely can't live without it anymore.

So I do recommend it, mostly to those with crazy brows who tend to have a mind on its own like my brows.

H&M Hairties

Hi,

I finally found the time to write another review! And today I'll be talking about my new hairties.
These kind of hairties have been a trend for a while and you can find them literally anywhere and in any color or print you want. I decided to buy some regular black ones at H&M.
To start with, the whole thing about these hairties is that you can use them as a bracelet too. I haven't really bought the most interesting ones (I was more focussing on something that matches with everything), but still I like to wear them around my wrist too sometimes. Really conveniant and more comfortable then regular hair ties, since they're not too tight and don't have any metal parts. Which is also better for your hair by the way.

But of course it's more important to know if they actually hold up your hair. And surprisingly, they do! They're nice to make braids with, but they also keep your hair in place when you make a ponytail. They're not that easy to wrap around tightly, but the don't really stretch out either, which is for me the most important part.
The only disadventage about them is that they kind of slip out of you hair easily. I always need to wrap them very tight to make sure they stay in. But maybe that's mainly with people with very straight hair..
Anyways, I'm really glad I have those. They look cute as both a bracelet and a hairtie and they're pretty good too. And after all, they were very cheap too.

Rituals Sakura Silk Deodorant

Hi,

You all know by know that the Rituals Magic Touch Cherry Blossom & Rice Milk body cream is my favourite body cream ever! It's just something about its smell that I'm totally drawn to. Everyone has this smell that suits them the most, well this is my best-suiting-most-loved-smell! So when I saw they also sold a deodorant in this same smell, I obviously had to buy it!

And as you probably already guessed: it's my new favourite deodorant! And not only because it smells wonderful, but also because it's the best deodorant I've ever tried! It literally leaves your armpits smelling amazing the whole day long, even when you practise a sport!

So I recommend everyone to try this out: you'll all love it! And if you don't like this smell (which I would get at all...) you can also try one of Rituals' other deodorants, they're probably as great!

How to Repair a Ripped Nail

Hi,

Isn't a broken nail the most annoying thing ever?! Well, I have the solution for you! I recently watched a new video of Cutepolish and I think it's the most helpfull thing ever! So I really had to share i with you guys! In this video Sandy explains how to fix your ripped nail by using a nailglue. I have no idea where to get this glue, I didn't even know this existed before I watched this video. But I does wonders! Because after applying it on your nails it does not only stops your nail from ripping any further, but it also makes this rip invisable!
Watch the video here:
