Lookbook: Our New Year's Eve Look

Hi,

Happy New Year's Eve! We hope you all have a very fun evening! And also a happy 2015! We can't believe another year passed by... It went all so fast. Today we're going to share with you our looks for tonight.

Femke chose to wear her peplum top of Bershka tonight. She really loves peplum tops: it's so girlish and cute, but can also look very festive and chic. She has been wishing for a white peplum top for a long time, so when she saw this one in Bershka she was very happy and bought it right away. Like we said peplum tops can look chic, but Femke wanted a more casual/boho kind of look. She chose to wear her jeans of H&M to make this look more casual. And to make it more a boho look she layered these two golden necklaces of Six. She is also wearing a ring with silver and gold, that's actually vintage, so she can't tell you where it's from. And the bracelet she is wearing is from Mini In The Box. She kept her hair lose with her natural messy curls, for once again a more boho kind of look. Femke is going to spend her New Year's Eve at home, so that's why once again she isn't wearing special shoes. But let's say if she would go outside she will wear these slip-on sneakers of H&M. They are maybe a bit too cold for the weather in Belgium right now, but if she would go outside it would be just to see the fireworks, so she wouldn't stay long in the cold anyway.

Maia is wearing a red dress with aztec-print. She bought it at Primark last year and she loves the shape of it. It has a very wide, loose skirt, which makes it looks more festive. She's also wearing regular black tights. She probably won't be going outside a lot tonight, so a thin pair was good enough. She chose to wear her high-heeled black boots from H&M again, because she loves how they make her legs look longer. Also they really suit the style of her dress. For her nails she decided to make some special glitter nail art. She did it with a tutorial from Cutepolish, wich we posted on monday. She didn't have any silver glitter, so she used gold. It was a bit more difficult then she thought it would be, but as you see, it worked out quite good. Apart from a small gold ring she bought at Primark, she's not wearing any jewelry. She wanted to do something special with her hair, so she tryed some kind of braided updo. First she made with two french braids, then she putted them across her head and secured it with a couple of bobbypins.
