Last week we made a post about a different way to tie of your braid. We love to do something special w ith our hair, even if it's just some little detail. Besides tying of your braids in a special way, you can also do something special with bobby pins. Especially when you have pins in bright colors, or just another color than your hair color, you can make a lot of fun patterns. Here are some excamples we found on WeHeartIt:
A lot of people wear their bobby pins wrong by the way. The grooved side has to face down, so that it captures more hair and locks it in place. So do it like in the picture above, not like in the picture on top of this post :)
Another bobby pin-tip here: when you spray your bobbypin with hairspray it will hold longer. This is really conveniant for girls like Maia who have really straight hair that won't hold anything.
