How Long Stays Nail Polish Of Claire's Good?

We don't know if you remember it, but we once made a post about a 10 years old nail polish of Nivea and it still worked pretty good. But what about the very cheap nail polishes you can buy at Claire's? Would they still work after 10 years? The answer is no. Femke bought a year ago a lot nailpolishes in Claire's for not much money. They stayed only 2 days on her nails, which isn't good. So she didn't use them a lot. But now after 1 year they're all dried out! :o So we really recommend you to invest in better nail polishes, like for example the ones of Nivea.

Spotted: Chloe Kardashian

Hi,

Today we spotted Chloe Kardashian in this amazing outfit!

Long skirts are really in fashion lately! But it's not easy to combine them right... So take Chloe Kardashian as an excample, because she has made a perfect retro look, with her spotted skirt, bright lipstick and round sunglasses.

But most of all we love her shoes!! :o They're so beautiful! We love how shiny they are and how they are exactly the same color as her skirt. They're from Yvez Saint Laurent.

Her clothes are from Yvez Saint Laurent and Givency, but this is one of those looks you can find really cheap look-a-likes of (except for the shoes maybe)! Her skirt is from ASOS, so that one's not even that expencive.

Last week we made a post about what shape of sunglasses fit your face, because logically, not everyone looks good with every kind of sunglasses. It's a really helpfull post, so make sure to check it out! :) So now you know what sort of glasses make you look best, but maybe you haven't found that one perfect pair yet. In our post 'Summer Clothes And Accessories' we showed you a couple of cute sunglasses yet, but now we'll show you a lot more! And of course we'll tell you with wich face shape it goes best! Here they are:

This first pair comes from Accessorize and costs €21.50. It's a combiunation between pilot sunglasses and round sunglasses, two kinds of sunglasses we love a lot. They look good on people with a diamond, triangl, oblong and square shaped face (so they're also good for those who are still not sure about wich face shape they have) In our previous post we've also said gold sunglasses go really chic with peole with a dark skin.

Whoa, rainbow sunglasses! Lovely! ;) They're pilot sunglasses, wich means they fit with people with a diamond, triangle and square shaped face. The frame is mettalic again so it looks good on people with a dark skin, but with al these bright colors, it will also look nice on tanned people. They're from Bijou Brigitte by the way.

Ooh, these are so cute! They're also from Bijou Brigitte and cost €12.95. They're round shaped, so they'll look nice on people with a square, oblong, triangle and diamond shaped face. Like you see they also are gold, so a good choice for people with a dark skin.

These are definitely eye-catchers! (haha, sunglasses, eyes ;) ) We've never seen sunglasses with his octagon-shape! They're from Bijou Brigitte and cost €9.95. It will look good on people with a triangle shaped face or an oblong or square shaped face. They're black so they'll look good on every skin color. Especially pale people will look trés chic with them.

These sunglasses are from Claire's, from their Katy Perry collection! We loooove how chic they look! They'll look good on people with a round or oblong shaped face. And for the color: they're black again, so it goes with everyone. They cost €14.99.

This pair is also from Claire's and costs €9.99. They look good on people with round, oblong and square shaped faces. It's in a pastel color so it'll look good on pale people too.

At FreePeople they've also got this round pilot sunglasses. So again, it looks good on diamond, triangl, oblong and square shaped face and because of the gold it especially looks good on people with a dark skin. But as you see on the model, people with a pale skin look good with metallic colors too.

These look a little like the ones in our post 'Summer Clothes And Accessories', but these are from River Island and the other pairs were from Romwe. They're a bit more expancive, €17. They're round so they're good for people with a square, oblong and diamond shaped face. They're Chanel inspired by the way :)

We don't really like these a lot, but they're very special so we tought to show you ;) They're from Topshop and cost €46. This is kind of difficult to find out for who they are, but we'd say people with oblong faces, because they look good with both round as square shaped sunglasses.

They also have prettier sunglasses at Topshop ;) For example these super cute ones for €25. They'll look good on people with a round or oblong shaped face. It's a pastel color, so this is perfect for pale people. :)

We hope you like them as much as we do! Triangle is a brand for swimwear and lingerie. We<3It is full of pictures of this brand, you probably have seen it before. It makes us think that it's just like the Jump From Paper Bags and that it came out of a cartoon. The assortiment isn't that big, but the most popular one is the one you see in the picture above. You can get that one in underwear and bikini form. We think it looks acctually very goregous. And we would love to have a pair ourselves.

Another collaboration for Converse and Maison Margiella

Hi!

About half a year ago, Converse and Maison Margiella created a beautiful line of sneakers together. It were normal Converse Sneakers in the tradiational Converse colors, but than with a layer of Maison Marigiella-white paint above it. After you wear them a couple of times thye white paint cracks and you can see the color that's below the paint. (See a post of them here)

This time there's notmuch of a difference, only that they now used leather sneakers. The colors they used below the white paint are now amber, marine-blue, red and bright blue.
Their new collection is already for sale.

A while ago we posted that All Stars were becoming a bit boring and we gave you a couple of tips to wear All Stars in an original way. Well, these Maison Martin Margiella Converses sure are very original! So when you're good with the price, this is another option to still wear All Stars. ;)

Spotted: Dakota Fanning

Hi!

Did you notice jumpsuits are really in fashion? Dakota Fanning noticed! We spotted her looking really good in a bright red jumpsuit.

It's not really the kind of jumpsuit we'd wear. Actually there are a lot of prettier jumpsuits. But we think this suits her really well. Especially because it has only one shoulder, wich looks quite elegant. :)

She combined it very well. There aren't much colors that go with bright red, so she chose black and gold accessories.
We're totally in love with her Prada clutch. It's so chic!

We think she could have done something with her hair, because it looks a little less chic with her hair down.

How To Grow Long Healthy Hair: Food (Part 3)

In our posts How To Get Rid Of Your Acne we already told you Femke eats a smoothie for breakfast every day. And we said too that Femke's hair got healthier and grew faster because of it too. In this third and last part of the How To Grow Long Healthy Hair posts we're going to give you Femke's recipe of her smoothie and some other food facts.

For letting your hair grow you don't have to change your whole diet. Eating chocolate and other sweets isn't going to slow down the process of growing your hair, but there are some things that will make this process go faster. The first thing that you should do is drink a lot of water. At least 6 glasses a day. Drinking water is good for almost everything, so you really should start doing that!

Femke also started to eat a super healthy smoothie for breakfast every day. The first 2 months it didn't change much, but now after 4 months she sees the differences. Her hair has never been this healthy and long. This smoothie also helped her to get rid of her acne. So here is the recipe of Femke her smoothie:

The ingredients:
- 10 grapes
- 1 kiwi
- 1 banana
- half an apple
- 1 orange
- some berries(Femke has this bag of a mix of frozen berries that she uses)
- 1 box of 150 g of Nestle Greek Yogurt
- 1 big spoon of coconut oil(this oil is very good for your hair and skin, it's also good to make hairmasks of)
- all kinds of nuts: Femke takes always 2 hazelnuts, 2 almonds, 2 cashew nuts and 2 walnuts
- 1 big spoon of mixed seeds: Femke usually takes some linseeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds
Now you have to blend that all and than you should have something like 2 glasses of your smoothie to start your day with. It is very thick so Femke eats it with a spoon. It's okay too if you don't blend it, but Femke likes it more blended.

So that was the recipe. You can also change the fruits some times, it doesn't mather. Femke does that too. As long as you eat a lot of fruit.

What kind of sunglasses fit your face?

It's almost summer wich means you can't survive without sunglasses anymore! :p In our post "Summer Clothes And Accessories" we showed you a whole bunch of cute sunglasses. It's hard to choose a pair, when there's so many beautiful ones! Well, we'll help you a little with your decision.

First of all, never just follow a trend, you first have to see if it looks good on you! Because these lovely vintage round sunglasses may look good on your friends, but that doesn't mean it looks good at you too.. In this post we'll help you to find out what shape of sunglasses looks best with the shape of your face.

We'll devide shapes of faces in six categories: 

1. Oval shaped face:



If you have an oval shaped face, like the beautiful Emma Watson, you're extremely lucky because everything will look good on you!! :o We recommand round shaped sunglasses or pilot sunglasses, because these are really in fashion this year. Or you could go for something really eye-catching, like heart-shaped sunglasses!

2. Round shaped face:

If you have a round shaped face like Emma Stone, you should be a little bit more carefull with what sunglasses you choose. Square shaped sunglasses will look very nice on you and luckily, these kind of sunglasses are always in fashion. And they will make your face look a little longer.

3. Diamond shaped face:

If you have a diamond shaped face, like Tyra Banks, you should choose a pair if sunglasses with a shape that's not too angular.

4. Triangle shaped face:

If you have a triangle shaped face, like Jennifer Aniston, you shoul choose sunglasses with a very thin frame. It's better when they have awide underside, because that will compensate with your thin jawline.

5. Oblong shaped face:

If you have kind of an oblong face, like Jessica Alba, you will look good with both square as round shaped sunglasses. This will make your face look a little shorter. Also, in your case, the bigger the better! :) So go for a faboulous pair of hollywood-sunglasses!

6. Square shaped face:

If you have a square shaped face, like Cara Delevigne, you look best with round or oval frames. Mary has a square shaped face too and she chose cat-eyed sunglasses, but also pilot sunglasses.

If you're not sure about the shape of your face, here's a simple test we found  on WeHeartIt that helps you find it:

Apart from the shape of your face, you also have to keep your skin color in mind. It's kind of like with the color of bikini you have to choose (we have a post about that too) We'll repeat it briefly:

-Pale skin:
People with a pale skin shouldn't choose colors that are too dark or too bright. Pastel colors will suit you well, and these are really in fashion this season! Black will look very chic on you too.

-Tanned skin:
If you have a tanned skin, you're the lucky kind of person that looks good with every color :) So just choose what you like best!

-Dark skin:

A dark skin looks good with bright colors, maybe neon, and also with silver or gold, if you want too look a little more chic. :)

But this all doesn't mean you can't look good with other shapes and colors of sunglasses! Take someone with you if you go shopping for sunglasses to hear his/her honest opinion about it, that also helps a lot.

Protect Your Skin!

Today we just wanted to tell you how important it is to use a suncream before tanning. Femke tans very quickly and she never ever gets a sunburn, so she never used a suncream. But last year she realised how bad that actually was for her skin. Because the UV rays can result to skin cancer and they also give your skin wrinckels. But Femke loves to have a pretty tanned skin and suncream doesn't let your skin tan at all. But she found the Nivea Sun Protect & Bronze(click here for the review we made about it) and the name of this product already says it: it protects your skin but you can tan easily with it either. And this is definitely not the only suncream that allows your skin to tan. So no excuses any more and protect your skin! And not only the times you tan, but every time your skin is uncovered to the warm summer sun. Also you should find a foundation or a daycream that has a SPF in it so your face is protected too.

We don't know if you know this yet, but we use a bodylotion every day. It makes our skin a lot healthier and softer. And we would recommend to use a bodylotion after you tanned, so your skin stays hydrated and doesn't start to peel of. Even when you protect your skin this can happen.

Festival De Cannes: Who Wears What?

Hi!

Yesterday the famous Festival de Cannes started, and were famous people are, there are memorable outfits! Let's see who was wearing what and who was dressed best...

First up is the SUPER hot Ryan Gosling. He looks great as always , altough we think he could have bought new shoes..; They look a littleworn out...

Oops, we don't really like Julianne Moore's dress.. She kind of looks like a weird kind of bird in it.. :s  It's a dress from Chanel by the way...

And now a dress that's way prettier: the one from Cheryl Cole! We loooove high now skirts, they look so faboulous. And her shoes are really pretty too, altough a bit simple. Her hair is very voluminous, wich looks great on her.

You've probably already noticed that we are great fans of Alessandra Ambrosio. She's a reale style-icon to us! But we're not such fans of the dress she wore at Festival de Cannes.. We like the shape, but we think the color's ugly and her jewelry doesn't match it... Disapointed!

Altough we love Robert Pattinson, we think his outfit was a litle bit too casual.. I mean, a jeans, seriously? His jacket has a pretty color tough..

Jennifer Lawrence wore a dress from Dior. We don't say we think it looks bad on her, but its also not so 'wooow'.. Disappointed again.. 

At another moment at the Festival she was wearing something waaaay more beautiful! Most women wear dresses at the Festival, but she's wearing a jumpsuit, wich makes her look even more pretty and special. Gold and black is by the way a great combination if you want to look chic.

And this, Julianne Moore, is the right way to wear feathers! Good job, Freida Pinto! It's a custom-made dress from Micheal Kors by the way. We love it, not only because of the feathers, but also because the color mades her skin look even more tanned. 

Lupita Nyong'o looks really good, altough the dress itself is not that pretty. We really aren't fans of leather dresses and especially not if they're not black.. 

Woooow, look at Blake Liverly! We love that dress! And her juwelry & lipstick are so chic! Definitely one of the best dressed persons in this post.

Spotted: Jessica Alba

Hi,

Doesn't Jessica Alba looks in a summer mood in this gorgeous maxi dress. Summer is coming, so we can already dress a bit more summery. Here in Belgium it's super warm at the moment, of course it will not last very long. But we already had to wear our summer clothes. So if you have the same problem in you country, here is some inspiration for what you can wear in the early summer days.

How To Grow Long Healthy Hair: Products (Part 2)

Hi,

Today it's time for the second post of the growing your hair process. We're going to talk about the products you should use for healthy hair and that prevent getting those split ends.

First you have to buy different shampoos and conditioners, because when you use just one product your hair will get used to that one and it won't have any effect anymore on your hair. So buy 3 pairs of shampoos and conditioners. And than you use every 2 weeks another pair. You could have for example a pair for shiny hair, one for more volume and one that makes your flakes go away. These are just some random examples, but you should buy what works the best for your hair. Femke also uses every 2 weeks once the Pantene Youth Protect shampoo and conditioner. This makes her hair super healthy, shiny, thicker, ...Well it does a lot and you can read it in our post we made about this product. So than you should have 4 different pairs of shampoos and conditioners which sounds a lot and expensive, but it isn't because it's just the same as when you buy one shampoo and conditioner over and over again. And believe us, it makes a difference.

Femke also uses every week a hairmask. This gives your hair a special treatment that will make it even more healthy. And if you don't have time for that, there are masks that you can wash out after just 2 minuts.

She also uses the Dove 60 Seconds Treatment Shot once a month. It's just a little bottle, but you can use it pretty long and it is super cheap. This is the best hair repair mask you can get.

If you use heat on your hair(which we recommend not to during this process) you should also use a heat-protect. Heat isn't good for your hair at all, so the best is not to use any heat on your hair. Even when you shower with warm water it demages your hair a little bit, but we know that having a shower with cold water isn't fun, so we allow you to shower with warm(but not to warm of course) water. ;)

So that sounds like a lot of products for your hair, but it will make a difference. Remember that to much products isn't good for your hair either, so make sure your hair has enough days to rest.

Summer Clothes And Accessories

Sorry that we didn't post yesterday, but we kind of forgot to. :s But that's why we have this super big post for today! Summer is coming! Get summer-ready with us in this post. We're going to tell you all about the trends for this summer and as always we will show you some pretty pieces of clothing you should buy for this summer.

We know black and white are the most fashionable colors, but in summer you should wear more colorful things. Even neon colors are not to much in summer and it makes your skin look tanner. But if you don't like to wear anything neon go for pastel colored things. White is okay to wear too and it also makes your skin look tanner. But avoid black things or super dark colors.

We're going to show you some summer clothes we like now. The prints we see a lot for this summer are aztec print, palmtreesprint, flowerprint and fruitprints. We went a bit crazy because we found so many amazing things, so we're going to separate it in some categories. The first one is with lots of cute summer bags:

We love this bag from H&M! And it only costs € 9,95.

Wow, we love this sunset colors inspired sunglasses, perfect for summer. They're again from Romwe and cost € 8,75.

Cat-eye sunglasses are a new trend this year. These are very basic but we still really like them. They're from Forever 21 and cost € 5,90.

Another cute pair of cat-eye sunglasses, but this time they come from New Look. They cost € 6,99.

These pilot sunglasses are from Forever 21 too and cost also € 5,90. We love the sea color the glasses have.
